Northwest Health Services COVID-19 Statement

To our patients and the communities we serve,

We are working diligently to ensure that we’re doing everything possible to keep our patients and our employees safe during this time of uncertainty. We have partnered with local, state and national agencies for guidance while navigating these evolving circumstances.

We wanted to send a personal note to you to let you know how we are responding to the situation.

The news surrounding COVID-19 is constantly changing so we’ll be keeping our patients updated as we adjust to the ever-evolving situation. Your care and safety is part of our culture here at Northwest Health Services. We have a team dedicated to our response to this pandemic and have plans in place to ensure we can maintain providing care to our communities all across Northwest Missouri. We are closely monitoring updates from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and the World Health Organization (WHO) regarding COVID-19. We will continue to seek guidance from these agencies, public health officials and government agencies on an ongoing basis. We have procedures in place, including rigorous cleaning of our facilities to ensure patient safety during this time. We’ve taken sensible steps to help protect our team of employees.

This means we’ve advised our employees to follow the public health authorities’ guidance regarding personal health and hygiene. Additionally, we’ve implemented significant social distancing measures that include suspending all in-person meetings and non-essential travel.

All of our clinics have new waiting room guidance that includes having patients wait in their vehicles while we serve them individually. We will handle clerical and administrative tasks via phone and email. We are actively working toward telehealth visits when appropriate. Northwest Health Services values the face-to-face relationships we have with patients and we didn’t take this step lightly. We’re asking all patients to CALL our clinics BEFORE arrival.

As always, thank you for being our patients and for your continued trust as we navigate this time together.
