In my free time, I love to read, especially cozy mysteries; I am a quilter, and I am very active in my local church, both in leadership, but also with worship planning and singing.
To me, relationships with family and friends are so important, and the most important thing to do is spending time with them. My nieces and nephew are my pride and joy, and since they are teenagers and in college, meeting them where they are…so even if it is helping them in the barns with their livestock…that is what I enjoy doing!
WHY I AM HERE
I knew in high school that I wanted to be a dietitian. My first job was working in a nursing home, and I loved working with the individuals, and doing what I could to help them have a better life in the late stages of their life. Then, as I took classes in college, this expanded to all ages, and I feel that everyone deserves to learn how they can make improvements in their lives for better nutrition. When we have a good nutritional intake, we feel better, and can perform our work and play so much better!!
