Did you know that Northwest Health Services is not just a medical care provider? Did you know that NHS is not just a dental care provider? Did you know that NHS is not just a behavioral healthcare provider? Did you know that NHS has its own pharmacy in Hamilton, MO?  Are you sick of the questions??!!

Well, you might just have to get used to the Did You Know questions. We have started a campaign to educate both the public and our own patients about who we are and what we do.

Northwest Health Services has a few common misconceptions that seem to follow us:

1. We are NOT Northwest Financial Services. This is a collection agency. Let’s not confuse the two! J
2. We are NOT a private practice. We are a Community Health Center (more info to come on this topic later.) All NHS locations accept anybody and everybody. We accept those with insurance and those without insurance. We accept those on Medicaid and those on Medicare. And Did You Know that we have a discount program for those who are either uninsured or underinsured?
3. Our discount program is NOT welfare. It is you taking advantage of your own tax dollars. It is assistance for those who cannot afford insurance right now. It is assistance to a family who may have insurance but are on such a high deductible plan that they still can’t afford services without the help of our discount program. It is there for YOUR benefit if you qualify.
