D.E.A.R. Services - Why We're Here

The Diabetes Education, Advocacy and Resource Services (D.E.A.R. Services) is an education service unique to Northwest Health Services.

Diabetes is a complex disease that requires daily self-management - making healthy food choices, staying physically active, monitoring your blood sugar and taking medications as prescribed. It is also important to talk regularly with your diabetes care team to problem solve, reduce risks for complications and cope with lifestyle changes.

Our diabetes management services provide qualified staff to educate and create personalized plans for individuals living with diabetes. These services give individuals the resources, education, empowerment and support they need to be successful with self-management of diabetes.
